Corporate Cake for Nolinor Aviation

by | Mar 13, 2013 | News

We were thrilled when Nolinor Aviation contacted us to create a cake and help with their 20th anniversary party. Our Head Pastry Chef and his team spent days planning and drawing different sketches to submit to Nolinor for approval. We were very pleased with our final sketch because of the way each tier had a unique touch but still contributed to the overall design of the cake. Building the cake required many hours of hard work and dedication from many people, but at Pâtisserie Tillemont, hard work is nothing new. Whether it is making and decorating 1000 cupcakes for Blackberry or 68 cakes for Air Canada we never shy away from obstacles. All in all, everything seemed to proceed smoothly…..until delivery time.

Transporting a 5-tier cake always has its issues.  This one in particular had to be delivered at the Fairmont Hotel in Mont-Tremblant on December 23rd. Of course, Mother Nature decided to hand us a beautiful winter blizzard that day. So after driving for nearly 4 hours, we finally made it to our destination without a hiccup; then proceeded to add the finishing touches and were on our way home. Another satisfied customer.

In the end, we were very proud to be a part of a company’s very special event and happy that the people at Nolinor Aviation chose Pâtisserie Tillemont to create the masterpiece
