Pâtisserie Tillemont - Sicilian cannolis
Over the last 35 years, Pâtisserie Tillemont has become a household name in the city of Montreal for many reasons. One in particular is our authentic Sicilian cannolis. The recipe was brought from Italy and perfected by our owner, M. Joe D’Angelo. He has always pride himself in two key factors in the cannoli-making process: homemade and freshness.


Homemade means that every part of the cannoli is worked on in house. Unlike many of our competitors, our cannoli shell is not purchased or made by a machine, each one is rolled and then put in the deep fryer for the right amount of time so that the shell becomes a perfect golden color. The recipe for the ricotta filling has been perfected throughout the years and is a staple of Pâtisserie Tillemont.

The second factor, freshness means that every time you buy a Sicilian cannoli, you know that it will be crunchy while still melting in your mouth.


However, our favourite part has always been our customers’ reaction when they take that first bite, the “Hmmmmsss” and “Wows” never ceased to please our staff and continue to motivate us to keep Pâtisserie Tillemont atop the list of best pastry shops in Montreal.
