Wedding Cake Trends 2016

Every year there are trends in wedding cakes that we notice when meeting new clients. In previous years, there was a trend of cakes with ruffles, another trend was a "bling" theme with diamonds. This year, the brides asked Chef Decorator, Nancy DiPietro for a simple and elegant theme and preferably without sugar paste. The solution was naked or semi-naked cakes. Not only can you pair a beautiful floral arrangement with this style, but you can also have a decoration with cascading field fruits and vanilla or cream cheese flavor that compliments the fruit well.
